About New York Comic Con 2026

New York Comic Con 2026 runs Thursday, October 8 through Sunday, October 11 at the Javits Center on Manhattan’s West Side — North America’s most-attended fan convention, drawing more than 250,000 people. 2026 is NYCC’s 20th anniversary, marked with a Coney Island theme.

The marquee venues are the Main Stage and the fifth-level Empire Stage, where studios stage their film and TV reveals — both cleared after every panel, so there is no camping for the next session. Marvel, DC, Funko, Crunchyroll, VIZ and HBO historically anchor the floor; the 2026 guest and panel lineup is announced through the summer.

NYCC runs on logistics and a good Manhattan base. Here is the playbook.

  1. Get your badge in June. Sales open June 3–24, 2026 and need a Fan Verification profile. Badges are non-transferable and non-resellable — buy in the on-sale or you are out.
  2. Base in Hell’s Kitchen or Midtown. Hotels directly beside the Javits are pricier and sit in a quiet pocket; a few blocks east keeps you near dining and nightlife and still an easy walk to the show.
  3. Take the 7 train. The 34th St–Hudson Yards station is a short walk from the Javits — far simpler than driving to Manhattan’s far West Side.
  4. Plan your panels, free-form your evenings. Both big stages clear after each panel, so pick your must-sees and line up early — then let Hell’s Kitchen carry the nights.
