Metallica Expand Their “Life Burns Faster” Sphere Residency to 24 Shows
What began as an eight-show run now stretches from October 2026 into March 2027.
Metallica have tripled the size of their Las Vegas Sphere residency, expanding “Life Burns Faster” from its original eight shows to 24 dates running October 2026 through March 2027 — the largest rock residency Sphere has staged.
True to the band’s M72 era, the residency keeps its “No Repeat Weekend” format: no song is repeated across each pair of shows, so two-night visitors hear two different setlists rendered through Sphere’s immersive screen and sound. General on-sale for all dates opened March 6.
It’s a striking companion to the Eagles’ long-running run at the same venue — between them, Sphere now anchors much of Las Vegas’s 2026–27 concert calendar.
